Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today, we're talking about the Curt Rooftop Basket on top of our 2024 Jeep Compass. Now, that's gonna be a great option for the Compass because as you probably realize, we don't have a whole lot of space in the back. So if you are going on a vacation with your family, or you're doing any other big trips, you're gonna be very limited on what you can haul, especially if this is filled up with people. So a solution for you is gonna be a rooftop basket because that's gonna be able to store a lot of your luggage, any of your gear, or anything else along those lines. The first thing I wanna show you is just how much space we're gonna have on the inside, just so you know what you can load this up with. So your length is gonna be a little bit under 37 and 1/2 inches. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna talk about the Curt roof basket on top of our 2021 Jeep Compass. That's gonna be a great option for you if maybe the back of your Compass is filled up or you already have people back there, you need somewhere to store your extra gear or any other items you have. Now let's take a closer look at it. This carrier is gonna be constructed from steel and it's gonna have this black powder coat finish to it so it's gonna be very durable, but also be weather resistant too. And what's nice about this too, we're gonna be able to carry 150 pounds. more

Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket Review - 2021 Jeep Compass- Video
Hi, Matt with etrailer and today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima SkinnyWarrior roof basket on our 2021 Jeep Compass. Now this is gonna be a great option for you if you're looking at trying to haul anything that's longer or you just run out of space in the back of your car. This is gonna be more ideal for anything that's long, like any type of wood or anything else along those lines. We're gonna have 165 pound weight capacity and we'll be able to put some pretty long items in here and we'll have this front flange that's gonna help it be more aerodynamic. Now, if the case ever arises that you need a little bit more space, you can actually remove this flange and put things past this point too. I do recommend if you do put any items in here, making sure to strap them down so they're nice and secured. more

Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Jeep Compass- Video
Today on our 2016 Jeep Compass we'll be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon mounted roof cargo basket, part number TH859. The dimensions are forty nine by forty by six. It can hold up to a hundred and fifty pounds. We have three of the four hold downs holding it on, and I'll show you the last one. What we have here is a u-bolt with two washers and two thumb screws. I slide it up under there. more

SportRack Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Jeep Compass- Video
Today on our 2016 Jeep Compass, we'll begin doing a test fit of the Sports Rack Vista Mounting Cargo Basket. Part number is SR9035. This basket is 44 inches long, 39 and 1/8 inches wide, and can hold up to 110 pounds. I have 3 of the 4 hold downs on. I'll put the last one on now. With these hold downs, you have a spacer, that we already have here. We have a plate that sits on top, and we have 2 wing nuts. Put the plate on, put the u bolt on, and we'll get one of the wing nuts started. more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2010 Jeep Compass- Video
Today on our 2010 Jeep Compass, well be test fitting the Thule MOAB part number TH690. Now to begin our test fit, weve already preassembled our basket to fit the load bars. So well simply place the basket on top of the load bars and center the basket with the vehicle. With the basket centered, well go ahead and use the hardware supplied with the MOAB to secure it to our load bars. With wing nuts tight, our basket is secured to the vehicle and were ready to load it up. The Thule MOAB rooftop cargo basket will add an additional 13 inches to the vehicles overall height. more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2012 Jeep Compass- Video
Today we have with us a 2012 Jeep Compass and well be test fitting the Thule MOAB Roof Mounted Cargo Basket part no. TH690. To mount the basket up on our roof, well place it on top of our load bars and slide it on. We wanna make sure that its centered from left to right. Once weve done that, we can swing the clamps around the load bars and use the wing nuts to tighten everything down. With the clamps tightened, our baskets installed and were ready to hit the road. more
